Job Summary
Software Engineer III for Google Cloud enablement within JPMorgan Chase’s Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services. Develops secure, high-quality production code, contributes to product design and operations, and advocates firmwide SDLC practices. Requires cloud development training/certification, practical Google Cloud experience (plus AWS/Azure), Terraform for IaC, proficiency in Java/Python/Go, understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices, and strong Agile/Scrum/DevOps experience. Kubernetes experience and cross-team collaboration in a global, multi-time-zone context are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on cloud software development concepts
- Practical experience with Google Cloud (hands-on)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Advanced in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, or Go
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices design
- Proven experience in software development with Agile/Scrum/DevOps practices
- Proficiency in SDLC
- Experience with Kubernetes (preferred)
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-team environment
- Experience collaborating with architects on technical strategies
