Job Summary
Develop Python services and AWS-based CI/CD tooling to improve deployment orchestration and developer productivity. Build scalable, secure microservices and batch workflows on AWS; own infrastructure as code with Terraform; create reusable SDKs, CLI tools, templates, and libraries; implement policy-as-code, RBAC, and secure secrets handling; optimize deployment strategies (canary/blue-green) and automate testing; ensure observability with logs, metrics, tracing, and SLOs; collaborate across product, platform, security, and SRE teams; contribute to roadmap, planning, and managing technical risk. Experience with full-stack development, AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda), Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, security best practices, and CI/CD governance is required; knowledge of AI-driven automation or Agentic AI in developer tooling is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied software engineering experience
- Proficiency in full stack development
- Strong experience deploying and managing solutions on AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform
- Proficiency with Docker and containerization workflows
- Experience with Kubernetes RBAC and cluster management
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- Security-focused mindset including secrets management, RBAC, OIDC/SAML, compliance, and policy-as-code (OPA)
- Observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) using tools like Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
- Strong architectural design and ability to document and communicate with stakeholders
- Experience with API gateway, serverless architectures, and Terraform Cloud/Enterprise
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into CI/CD workflows (preferred)
- Prompt engineering or AI workflow orchestration exposure (preferred)
