Job Summary
Software Engineer III-Full Stack at JPMorgan Chase-Trust and Estate Technology Team. Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable trust and estate software solutions across the stack using Java and React, with cloud-native AWS deployments. Duties include writing secure code, contributing to system architecture, driving automation and operational stability through the SDLC, analyzing data from diverse sources to improve applications, proactively solving technical problems, and collaborating to foster diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning. Candidate will work in an agile team, participate in engineering communities of practice, and apply knowledge of CI/CD, security, and performance considerations. Leveraged technologies include Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Node/ReactJS, AWS, Oracle DB/PLSQL, ECS, Splunk, and AI-enabled tooling (LLMs, GitHub Copilot). Preferred familiarity with test-driven development, IaC, event-driven architectures, and AWS certification; experience in financial services or trust and estate domains is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced skills in Java and React (Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Node and ReactJS)
- Intermediate familiarity with AWS or another public cloud provider
- Strong coding fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)
- Experience across SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security)
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes (cloud, AI, platform engineering)
- Hands-on skills in Oracle DB and PL/SQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of ECS, Splunk, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with agentic AI or AI-driven solutions
- Familiar with LLMs, GitHub CoPilot for building and maintaining robust applications
