Job Summary
Design and develop software which is well integrated with Applied Material tools. Your software is expected to add to the value of our tools by providing essential and exceptional features to our engineers. Develop software documentation and test procedures. Troubleshoot a variety of difficult software problems. Design and implement bug fixes. Define software specifications and test plans for simulators, test benches or the lab. Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting. Lead others to solve complex reliability problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. You will work on a complex large pre-existing codebase and are expected to make improvements without impacting the codebase. You will be required to create new software and are expected to use known design principles to ensure long-term scaling of your software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security or mathematics
- 4–7 years of related experience
- Proficiency and experience in .Net, C#, C++, React, Python, SQL, Network Communication, MSBuild, etc.
