Job Summary
Software Engineer III in JPMorgan Chase’s Post Trade Technology group drives secure, scalable software solutions across multiple business functions. You will write high-quality production code, review peers’ work, automate remediation to improve stability, and lead architectural design discussions and communities of practice around new technologies. The role requires delivering full stack development with Java 21 and React, leveraging cloud-native and CI/CD practices, and applying agile methodologies to support risk-managed, market-facing technology for derivatives and FX transformation. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience are expected, with strong emphasis on software development life cycle, automation, and collaboration with business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Proficient in full stack development skill Java 21, REACT or any other frameworks , building into Public Cloud and CD/CD strategies
