Job Summary
Senior/III-level software engineering role focused on blockchain solutions within JPMorganChase's Commercial and Investment Banking team. Responsible for designing and delivering trusted, scalable microservices and blockchain applications across private/public networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Key duties include implementing microservices architectures, designing blockchain solutions and DApps with cryptographic protocols, monitoring and optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, advocating SDLC-wide practices, and applying rigorous monitoring/testing to secure blockchain infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for traditional distributed systems
- Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana
- Solidity, Java, JavaScript, Go, Python
- Experience with cryptographic principles underpinning blockchain technologies
- Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Google, or Microsoft
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
