Job Summary
Senior Automation Engineering-focused Software Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across testing, operational workflows, and business processes. Lead automation development across the full software development lifecycle, serving as a technical SME for automation solutions, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers. Build automation for UI, API, integration, regression, data validation, and business process workflows; evaluate and implement modern automation tools and technologies; contribute to automation strategy, standards, and roadmaps; partner with QA, developers, and operations to identify opportunities; troubleshoot complex issues and drive reliability and efficiency; support governance and continuous improvement across multiple applications and domains.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional software development/automation engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with complex systems/architectures
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
- Strong development skills in one or more languages: C#, JavaScript, or Java
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, and process automation
- Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, scripting tools, system integration patterns, CI/CD, DevOps, and version control
- Experience with system optimization, monitoring, and debugging complex issues
- Experience developing automation solutions for testing, workflows, or operational processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with automation platforms, workflow orchestration tools, or RPA technologies (a plus)
- Ability to lead initiatives, mentor others, and collaborate across teams
