Job Summary
Software Engineer III on JPMorgan Chase’s AI Research team; develops Python-first platforms and Generative AI-based applications (agents), ships production AI at scale, and integrates with CI/CD and IaC to deliver secure, scalable AI products. Collaborates with AI Researchers and Data Scientists to turn experiments into production-grade apps, emphasizes automation, cloud delivery, and operational stability, and contributes to an inclusive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Expertise in automation and CI/CD/CT methods
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)
- Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and MDLC
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and architectural frameworks
- Demonstrated proficiency in platform development and technical processes (e.g., cloud, AI/ML)
