Job Summary
Own the architecture, development, and ongoing evolution of the Assure web UI by modernizing legacy components into a scalable React-based foundation. Partner with internal users and stakeholders to translate workflows into intuitive interfaces, designing rich data visualizations that provide actionable insights into print-job performance and printer fleet health. Build reusable UI components and integrate applications with REST APIs while maintaining automated tests for reliability. Collaborate with the backend team to deliver high-quality front-end solutions that support the platform's transition into a comprehensive fleet management system.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on web front-end development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with modern web development practices
- Professional experience building production applications with React, including component design, hooks, state management, routing, and component styling
- Experience designing and building reusable, maintainable UI components and front-end architectures
- Experience integrating web applications with REST APIs and collaborating with backend engineers to consume and present data
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests for web applications, including unit, integration, and/or component tests
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and improving front-end application performance and reliability
- Ability to translate user and business requirements into intuitive and effective user experiences
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, stakeholders, designers, and software engineers
