Job Summary
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based backend systems powering native mobile applications within a cross-functional team. Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability while ensuring high quality standards through design reviews, code reviews, and test maintenance. Document systems for future developer maintainability and serve in an on-call rotation as a first responder for team-owned software. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 1-2 years of experience, and familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science (or a related field)
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with at least 1 major programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Java, Go, Python, C# etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles
- A sense of ownership and accountability
- Passion for software development, continuous learning and a growth mindset
