Software Engineer II (Trade Processing)

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for Apex Fintech Solutions’ high-volume trade clearing services. Build cloud-native microservices on GCP with event-driven architectures (Kafka/PubSub), support CI/CD, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty), and ensure resiliency and self-healing capabilities. Collaborate with senior engineers to adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain high-quality, well-tested code. Key skills include proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; experience with relational databases; familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker; and exposure to distributed data-processing systems like Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Pub/Sub. Prior financial services experience is a plus. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with some remote work and in-office collaboration.
