Job Summary
Software Engineer II – Technology Application Engineer owns end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise SaaS and hybrid legal technology platforms within a regulated banking environment. Responsibilities include onboarding SaaS platforms, configuring and managing Azure-based identity integrations, supporting REST API integrations, SSO/MFA and conditional access, data migrations, and coordinating with vendors and enterprise architecture. The role requires engagement across cloud and on-prem systems, security/compliance considerations, incident management, and collaboration with DBAs, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable integration solutions. 4–6 years of relevant experience in enterprise application engineering, SaaS integration, or production support is preferred; experience in regulated industries such as banking/financial services is strongly preferred (TD). Expected expertise includes cloud identity management (Azure Entra ID), REST API/file-based integrations (CSV, SFTP), data processing, and a strong ownership mindset. The position operates in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is focused on enterprise-grade SaaS platform ownership, onboarding, modernization, and ongoing integration and security compliance across the technology stack.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application engineering, SaaS integration, or production support roles
- Strong SaaS integration experience
- Experience with Azure ecosystem and identity systems (Microsoft Entra ID)
- Experience configuring SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies
- Experience in regulated industries such as banking/financial services is strongly preferred (TD Bank)
- Experience with REST API integrations and data processing
- Knowledge of security and governance controls in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with database operations (backup, restore, migration)
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical engineering solutions
- Experience with incident management and production support
- Experience with Office 365 / M365 integrations (Outlook, Exchange, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and ownership mindset
- Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and ambiguous situations
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and on-prem integrations
- Knowledge of data migration and ETL concepts
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
- TD Bank domain knowledge is a plus
- Experience with REST APIs / file-based integrations (CSV, SFTP)
- Nice to have: Experience with Legal SaaS applications like Exterro, TeamConnect, iManage, Dilligent, Intella, Tymetrix
