Job Summary
Software Engineer II to design, develop, and test software for Next Gen RF Sensors within an agile, collaborative environment in El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing code for performance in complex environments, writing documentation for system architecture and design specifications, participating in agile execution, and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to implement and test system modification requests; required skills include proficiency in C/C++/Java, containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools and DevSecOps practices. Relocation assistance is available and the role requires U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance on day 1.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, or Java
- Experience with containerized applications such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps Software Methodologies
- Qualifications We Prefer: embedded or low-level software development, OS-adjacent or hardware-interfacing work; CI/CD tools and infrastructure such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar; OMS-based architecture; Scrum/CI/TD Development; embedded software for sensors, algorithm development, signal/data processing
