Job Summary
Software Engineer II in Post Trade Technology responsible for development and 3rd-level support of confirmation and settlement systems (Equity/Fixed Income), coordinating with vendors and global teams, managing testing (SIT/UAT) and coordinating production releases. Role involves English/Japanese communication, vendor management, and collaborating with global and Japan-facing teams to ensure resiliency, stability, and regulatory compliance for trade processing systems. Strong emphasis on working within a bilingual, multinational finance environment with Unix/Linux/Cloud technologies and databases.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual English and Japanese speaker
- Familiarity with working in a global multi-national organization and culture
- Familiarity with Japan finance regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with managing applications running on Unix/Linux or any Cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Database (any DB)
- Unix scripting, MQ/UM
- Understanding of project management and software development lifecycle methodologies
