Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Science in Chennai (Orion fleet-management). Responsible for full-stack development using Node.js, Vue.js, React.js, and TypeScript; design and implement APIs and database schemas for PostgreSQL/MySQL and ElasticSearch; deploy and manage cloud-based applications on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes; write unit/integration/performance tests (Jest/Enzyme); collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to translate requirements and automate CI/CD with the DevOps team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency with Node.js, Vue.js, and React.js
- Experience with TypeScript and frontend build tools
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud deployment
- Database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or ElasticSearch)
