Job Summary

Develop robust and scalable C++ software on Linux operating systems using Agile development methods. Maintain DevSecOps tooling including build pipelines, test automation, and deployment processes. Participate in cross-functional analysis of radar data, support software integration and verification activities, and translate end-user requirements into technical solutions. Dive into difficult problems to deliver results on schedule while contributing ideas to technology and algorithms. Work onsite in McKinney, TX, requiring an active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • minimum of 2 years of prior relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with C++ application code development
  • Experience developing software for Linux
  • Experience developing software in a team-based development environment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
  • This position is onsite at our campus in beautiful McKinney, TX
  • applicants must be in the area or willing to relocate to it

Desired Qualifications

  • Embedded software development knowledge is highly preferred
  • Radar domain knowledge
  • Modeling and Simulation knowledge
  • ASIC and/or Firmware development experience
  • Real-time, multi-threaded software development experience
  • Strong Object-Oriented Design knowledge
  • Experience in Agile development methods including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration
  • Familiarity with a breadth of software tools, such as git, CMake, Eclipse, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Google Test, Qt, etc
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
