Job Summary
Design and build scalable REST APIs and data management platforms using Java, Kotlin, or C++ within a microservices architecture on AWS. Develop SQL queries and event-based programming solutions to ingest, process, and analyze vast datasets for data scientists, ensuring governance and compliance. Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to pivot platform capabilities for bespoke market needs while maintaining stringent security measures. Leverage Linux environments and cloud technologies to future-proof data systems against changing programmatic trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- 2-3 years development experience with an Object Oriented Language (Java/Kotlin/C++)
- Experience working on the Linux environment
- Good understanding of Object Oriented concepts & Design Patterns, algorithm & data structures
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture and product development using Java/Kotlin/C++
- Experience with cloud technologies, SaaS, PaaS & IaaS, AWS Services
- Working knowledge of event based programming
- Knowledge around scalable service architecture
- Good understanding of multi-tier web applications
- Experience working on building REST APIs
- Hands-on experience in developing applications using Java Enterprise platforms
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent grasp of one or more languages including an OO language
- Strong coding skills and good in writing Sql Queries
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Spark & Hive is a Plus
