Job Summary
Conduct development, unit testing, and system testing for C++ and Java code while building frameworks to ensure proper test coverage and configuration quality. Develop and execute test plans for applications, independently generate test data, and prepare test environments. Support quality and test strategy creation, including automation efforts, and participate in project-level reviews and walkthroughs. Provide technical support to junior team members and raise process improvement opportunities through simple automation implementations. Adhere to Mastercard's security policies and complete mandatory trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong C++ and Java programming skills
- Strong payment domain knowledge
- Possesses a strong knowledge of programming, tools, architecture patterns, and BDD
- Experience in advanced code development (C++ and Java), quality review software development, and automation frameworks
- Experience in agile and waterfall testing methodologies and tools, unit and integration testing, and data virtualization tools
- Demonstrated ability to communicate application level directions across departments
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
