Job Summary
As a Software Engineer II specializing in Machine Learning, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining machine learning models and developing scalable ETL pipelines. The role involves designing data management systems for various formats like TIFF, CSV, and XML, alongside optimizing workflows and developing API integrations. Key requirements include strong experience in deep learning, Python programming for data manipulation, and efficiency in creating ETL scripts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is vital to ensure smooth model integration in production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning or ML engineering
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, API development, and ML integration
- Ability to write efficient ETL scripts and manage large datasets
- Strong knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Familiarity with YOLO-based object detection and OCR processing
- Experience with Tensorflow, Pyspark, and Scikit-learn
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with Azure services (Data Factory, Blob Storage, ML Studio)
- Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or other API frameworks
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices for deploying ML models
- Hands-on experience using Git and GitHub/GitLab
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in insurance, document processing, or OCR-related applications
- Knowledge of distributed data processing (Spark, Dask, or similar)
- Familiarity with NLP and LLM-based models
