Job Summary
Software Engineer II with 4–6 years of experience specializing in designing and developing scalable microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies. Works within an Agile team to guide and implement technical solutions, defines architectural runways and roadmaps for inclusive systems, and collaborates with Enterprise, Security, Data & Infrastructure architects to create customer value. Proficient in microservice design patterns, containerised applications, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps practices, with hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP). Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and mentor other engineers, and the ability to translate varied technology requirements into practical solutions. Hybrid working arrangement in Hyderabad, India.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in designing and developing scalable microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies
- Experience working within Agile teams
- Strong technical skills with microservice design patterns, containerised applications, infrastructure as code in containerised environments, and DevSecOps principles
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with cloud technologies (GCP preferred) and building/deploying microservices on the cloud
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment to production
- Ability to guide and implement technical solutions within an agile team
- Experience with architectural governance and risk management or compliance processes
- Mentoring or coaching engineers as appropriate
- Collaboration with Enterprise, Security, Data & Infrastructure architects
