Job Summary

Design, build, and optimize data solutions including OLTP, API/Microservices, data warehouses, and streaming pipelines using modern toolsets. Transform legacy structures into secure hybrid cloud architectures while applying "contract first" design principles for Data Services. Develop best-practice driven ingestion tooling to increase scale and automation, ensuring data security and enabling application performance. Cover code with unit tests, estimate efforts, and lead code reviews. Identify bottlenecks and provide mitigation solutions. This role supports Credit One Bank's IT team in digital modernization efforts, working with architects, analysts, and data scientists to optimize data infrastructure and operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Experience Coding with Java, JavaScript (Nodejs), Python
  • Strong Knowledge of Design Patterns for Software and Data Engineering
  • Experience in on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including service and cost optimization
  • Experience with production and analytics data, batch, and real time / streaming, etc
  • Experience with RDBMS (E.g., Oracle, SQL) as well as modern relational and unstructured data sources (like NoSQL), including cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Hands on experience using tools such as Hadoop Stack, Airflow, Kafka, NiFi, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Elastic Search (ELK), JSON, Parquet, Avro and other Data Storage formats, Tableau, Superset and other Visualization Tools, Apache Atlas, and other Data-centric Apache Packages

Desired Qualifications

  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
