Job Summary
Drive the development of robust IBM ODM Rule solutions for transaction-level decisions in fraud prediction applications. Analyze and propose effective rule strategies, implement rule changes in an agile setting, and validate changes against transaction data. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and possess experience with IBM ODM software, software engineering methodologies, object-oriented development, particularly in Java, and an understanding of financial services or payment systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Direct experience with development of custom software applications
- Ability to analyze customer requests for Fraud Rule changes
- Technical expertise for fraud prediction applications
- High-energy, detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Software
- Experience in delivering technical solutions in a business context
- Financial Services or Payments experience
- Experience with software engineering concepts and methodologies, including agile lifecycles and testing automation
- Strong background in object-oriented architecture and development, preferably with Direct Java experience
