Job Summary

Develop and enhance scalable SaaS and enterprise digital solutions by leading backend system design, database schema creation, and frontend collaboration. Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Teams, and Designers to translate requirements into technical designs, while producing clean, well-documented code and writing automated unit and UI tests. Resolve business and customer issues as the primary technical contact for critical applications, participate in Design and Deploy Tollgate reviews, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance. Lead development on medium to large-sized projects, support the full product lifecycle, and conduct research on emerging tools to improve team capability. This office-first role requires at least four days in our Reading, PA, corporate offices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of professional software development experience
Experience with backend systems and relational database schemas
Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with automated unit and UI testing
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
