Job Summary
Design and build scalable full-stack services using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve customer reporting and analytics; expand and maintain the existing web application; debug and resolve issues quickly. Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and tech debt prioritization; advocate for high engineering standards including test coverage, documentation, and observability; participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability. Work with product managers and designers to scope and deliver product features (0–1 feature at a time) and build/maintain integrations with data warehouses or external APIs. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and collaborate across time zones to support distributed teams. Seek opportunities to improve the application stack and overall team velocity while delivering projects on time and with high stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- full-stack development
- Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python backend proficiency OR Typescript, React, Angular, Vue frontend proficiency
- ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- experience in cross-functional Agile teams
- strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- SQL experience with PostgreSQL or Snowflake
- ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and identify root causes
