Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications within the vAuto software suite using .NET/C# and JavaScript/TypeScript. Own features end-to-end, from architecture through production support, while writing unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure quality. Troubleshoot software defects, break down epics into technical tasks, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure for improved performance and security. Collaborate with AI agents to build, test, and deploy software across the SDLC, implementing AI-powered features and exploring agentic coding tools. Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance, actively participate in Agile ceremonies, and document work to share knowledge across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field; or a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field with no degree
- Solid experience as a Software Engineer, with proficiency in .NET C# and JavaScript or Typescript frameworks
- Strong database development skills, including advanced SQL, relational and NoSQL database technologies
- Deep understanding of software development best practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Live by Scrum principles and collaborate with team members using Agile techniques including test driven development, code reviews, and retrospectives
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining intricate technical details coherently to both tech-savvy and non-technical individuals
- Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS), is preferred
- Experience working with AI technologies or strong curiosity to incorporate AI into development such as: Agentic coding AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT. Claude Code)
