Job Summary
Ensure the Appian platform remains fast, scalable, and capable of handling customer-configured tasks by mastering advanced technologies and enhancing the declarative programming language. Navigate between deep code-level views, designer interfaces, and end-user perspectives to deliver high-quality software solutions. Maintain a strong foundation in programming principles using languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript, while applying data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems. This role supports Appian's mission of automating mission-critical work for large enterprises and governments, leveraging over 25 years of expertise in enterprise operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong foundation in programming and software design principles
- Excellent coding skills in any of the major programming languages (Java, python, javascript or similar languages)
- Solid understanding of object oriented principles
- Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)
