Job Summary
Design, build, and optimize highly scalable internal platforms and infrastructure that enable enterprise-scale automation. Develop cloud infrastructure that is seamless, resilient, and developer-friendly from Appian’s Chennai tech hub, collaborating with global teams to ensure robust, automated systems capable of handling extensive workloads. Proficient in Java, Python, or Go; IaC with Terraform; Kubernetes; CI/CD; observability tooling; and distributed/microservices architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- Programming: Java, Python, or Go
- Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools)
- Kubernetes (deployment, troubleshooting, and scaling)
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, centralized logging, metrics monitoring)
- Distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
