Job Summary
Contribute to delivery of platform features and backend services that power critical business and customer experiences. Write, test, and debug code for applications, backend services, and APIs while building foundational capability to support scalable, cloud-based engineering environments. Establish a pipeline of engineering talent aligned to long-term platform strategy. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot development issues, and collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver functional and reliable software. Follow established development workflows, security practices, and engineering standards while continuously building understanding of platform architecture and system design principles. This entry-level role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 0-2 years of experience. On-site work in Memphis, TN is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or early career roles)
- Ability to write, test, and debug code in at least one programming language
- .Net
- Foundational understanding of RESTful APIs
- SQL and data handling
- Version control systems (Git-based tools)
- Ability to apply logical reasoning to solve defined technical problems
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting approaches within established guidelines
- Ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately when needed
- Ability to communicate effectively within team environments
- Ability to actively participate in team collaboration and development processes
- Ability to incorporate feedback to improve performance and output
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
- Ability to adapt to evolving engineering practices and environments
