Job Summary
Software Engineer I (L1) responsible for building and maintaining features across the stack (front-end, back-end, and infrastructure). Embraces AI-powered development tools to assist coding, testing, and documentation; collaborates with Product, Design, and QA to deliver customer value; participates in code reviews; writes clean, testable code and automated test coverage; takes ownership of end-to-end testing (unit, integration, manual validation); debugs and resolves production issues with team support; learns and adopts DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, incident response); engages in stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives; and grows technical skills through feedback and real-world experience. Requirements emphasize familiarity with modern languages (TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, PHP), basic AWS exposure (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch), web architectures and APIs, version control, testing practices, curiosity about AI tools, and a desire to grow through collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, PHP)
- Basic exposure to AWS; knowledge of core services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- Basic understanding of web architecture (client/server), APIs, and databases
- Exposure to version control systems and automated testing practices
- Curiosity about AI tools and openness to integrating them into development process
- Desire to grow through feedback, collaboration, and real-world experience
