Job Summary
Conduct software development for radar systems and self-protection software by collaborating with engineering authorities on requirements, design, coding, build processes, and data analysis. Maintain real-time embedded software and tactical airborne systems including Radar Warning Receivers, Decoys, Jammers, and Electronic Warfare Suites across various development environments. Work with systems, firmware, and electrical aerospace engineers to integrate and support mission-driven projects. Requires an active U.S. government security clearance and a Bachelor's degree in STEM with proficiency in C/C++ and real-time embedded programming.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Programming in C and/or C++
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Calculus for Engineers and Scientists
- Proficiency with general purpose computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Software related co-op / internship experience
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Real-Time Embedded programming
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Software Engineering / Software life cycle
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Agile/Lean development techniques
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Software Integration
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Assembly language
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Signal Processing
- Completed or planned coursework or equivalent knowledge/experience in Algorithmic Fundamentals
