Job Summary
Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, including development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems. Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions while participating in internal review of software components and systems. Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering to follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products. This Software Engineer I role supports the Radar Product Line Team at RTX, a global aerospace and defense company, with a requirement for a U.S. government security clearance and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience or Education with software development
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S.-based role

- Experience with C++, C, Java or similar higher level programming language
