Job Summary
Software Engineer I responsible for end-to-end engineering tasks within Travelers Loss Sensitive tech ecosystem, including design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, monitoring, and documentation for systems within Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript/Node.js, and AI-enabled workloads. Role requires collaboration to analyze defects, implement solutions, and contribute to scalable, maintainable services across AWS (EKS, Lambda) and database ecosystems (Postgres, Oracle). Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field and 3 years of programming experience. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving, delivery discipline, and effective communication, with experience in agile practices, cloud tooling (GitHub, CDK, Terraform, Jenkins), and familiarity with GenAI/AI domains. Authorization to work in the US is required; the company does not sponsor H-1B petitions for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field or equivalent experience
