Job Summary
Develop and test medical device software as part of an embedded system for Medtronic Cardiac Rhythm Management. Deliver embedded firmware for implantable cardiac devices, work with instrument and hardware functions, and use a variety of troubleshooting tools. Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle to support engineering applications across products. Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and communicate effectively to ensure quality and compliance. Typical day includes hands-on software development, testing, debugging, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and 0 years of experience; role is on-site in Mounds View, MN with less than 10% travel.
