Job Summary
Design and write code for client projects while managing content in a Content Management System. Participate in client communications and meetings to deliver HTML mock-ups, responsive design concepts, and PHP templates. Analyze and interpret metric data to drive user experience improvements, communicating both technical and non-technical information effectively. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and standards. This role supports Capstone IT's mission to help local Kansas City businesses create cutting-edge software and websites through a close-knit team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years with professional Front-End Web Development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or relevant field
- Equivalent professional experience in place of formal education may be considered
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JS framework (React or Angular)
- PHP programming and creating templates
- Creating responsive design concepts
- Advanced understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience using Git for version control and deployment
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) – preferred WordPress
