Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise-grade, full-stack web applications for a U.S. Federal Government contract. Roles include delivering Python/Django-based solutions, integrating/operationalizing analytic web apps within ATO on classified networks, and collaborating with Managers, Data Scientists, DevOps, and other developers. Must be proficient with Linux, AWS, containerization, IaC, and CI/CD; role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and a hybrid remote arrangement (50% on-site in McLean, VA area with commutable distance to McLean/Pentagon). Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven Python application development experience beyond scripting
- Full-stack web application development experience using Python and Django
- Front-end development with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Bootstrap, Tailwind, HTMX, Alpine.js)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, Podman)
- Experience with AWS (RDS Aurora, ECS and/or EKS, VPC, ALB)
- Experience with serverless architectures/services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild/CodePipeline, GitHub Actions)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Proficiency with Linux/UNIX environments
- Knowledge of Government ATO processes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph
