Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, while developing and enhancing Business Process Management (BPM) workflows. Build RESTful APIs, deploy on AWS, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub. Monitor application health via Datadog and Elasticsearch, develop automation test suites, and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and adhere to secure coding practices. Requires 2+ years of Java backend experience, proficiency in Polish and English, and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in backend application development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and software development using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or Karate
- Knowledge of API and integration testing with automated test suites
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Proficiency in Polish and English is required for this role
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Microservices Architecture
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Passion for learning new technologies and contributing to engineering best practices
