Job Summary
Software Engineer (Hybrid) focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software that transforms data into actionable intelligence for defense/IC programs. Responsibilities include building and enhancing tools for viewing and organizing complex datasets, developing parsers and processing components to convert raw data into structured formats, troubleshooting defects, participating in Agile ceremonies, generating technical documentation, and executing test procedures to ensure quality. Requires 7+ years of professional software engineering experience and proficiency in Java, Python, or C++, PostgreSQL/SQL, AWS, and Git. Must hold an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. Located in Annapolis Junction, MD with a Hybrid work arrangement; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
- Experience with AWS
- Experience using Git for source code management
- Security Clearance Requirement: Current/Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Proven ability to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
- Experience in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to generate technical documentation
- Experience developing secure, scalable applications
