Job Summary
Backend-focused Software Engineer role responsible for solving large-scale backend challenges, optimizing infrastructure, and delivering robust API-backed services in a Linux-based, containerized environment. Collaboration with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate customer needs into scalable, automated solutions; emphasis on Agile practices, continuous improvement, and pair programming. Key skills include Ruby, object-oriented programming, Linux/Unix, Docker/Kubernetes or other container orchestration, MySQL/Redis, DevOps, and automated testing within a self-organizing team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Rancher, Docker Swarm or other container orchestration platforms
- Understanding of database design and performance tuning (MySQL, Redis)
- Experience with DevOps on a Linux based platform
- Experience with system administration on a Linux based platform
