Job Summary
Software Engineer needed to join Guidewire’s Krakow development team to build and deliver Guidewire Cloud Platform solutions. You’ll work on the Java stack (Java 17+ and Spring Boot) within a microservices architecture on AWS/Kubernetes, contributing across architecture, coding, QA, infrastructure, and deployment strategies. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with practices like Clean Code, Test-Driven Development, code reviews, and pair programming. The team focuses on provisioning services for customer environments, supporting a cloud platform used by insurers, and applying AI/data-driven insights to improve productivity and outcomes. Strong emphasis on in-office attendance (10 days per month, last week of each month, Mon–Thu; other weeks Tue–Wed). Nice-to-have skills include AWS services, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring ecosystem, and cloud-native tooling.
