Job Summary
Design, implement, and manage software connectivity features for Globus Medical products, including the ExcelsiusGPS® surgical robot and Excelsius3D® imaging system. Conceive solutions to identified requirements, define business needs, and implement software features while ensuring efficient performance and scalability. Provide Business Development input when required and contribute to design, testing, and documentation. Prioritize work to identify root causes of quality issues and create corrective plans for timely resolution. Support integration, internal testing, and external customers when presented with issues. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and publications. Requires strong software engineering skills across multiple languages, understanding of Windows and Linux internals, and experience with FDA design control environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in computer science or related Engineering field with more than 2 years of professional experience or (1 year experience with Masters)
- Strong experience in deployment of software engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
- Experience in scripting including PowerShell, Python, Batch, and Shell scripts
- Experience in rust, Go, C/C++, and TypeScript
- Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of operating systems internals, including Windows and Linux
- Understanding of an FDA design control environment (is a plus)
