Job Summary
Develop and enhance front-end and/or back-end code across multiple platforms, delivering scalable solutions in collaboration with business and technology teams. Design and maintain program specifications, ensuring effective integration across applications and databases for reliable payment solutions. Analyze, test, and validate code changes, performing unit testing and resolving defects to ensure high-quality, compliant software delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and partners to define solution approaches and support project delivery in a global payments environment. Contribute to engineering standards, security (including PCI compliance), and best practices while supporting estimation, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise environments
- Ability to communicate in Czech Language - B1
- Strong programming expertise in modern languages such as Java, Python, or .NET
- working knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular)
- Experience building and integrating APIs and services
- solid knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and data handling in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- Proficiency with development tools and environments, including CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control, and frameworks such as Spring, Node.js
- familiarity with Linux/Windows or mainframe systems
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset, with the ability to deliver secure, high-quality solutions in a PCI-compliant, high-volume payments environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
