Job Summary
Build and extend digital channels with social platforms like Google, X, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Implement features across data ingestion, aggregation, retrieval, message routing, delivery, tracking, analytics, observability, and operational tooling. Write automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end layers. Add monitoring, alerting, and operational code to run what you build while improving system reliability and incident response. Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and the team's on-call rotation. Experiment with AI-assisted development workflows to improve scalability and developer productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend and distributed systems
- Upper intermediate or above written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Typescript or Java with the ability to work across multiple backend technologies
- Experience working with NoSQL or relational databases
- Experience building cloud native or microservice-based applications
- Hands-on experience with automated testing and continuous integration
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills capable of translating problems into practical solutions
- Regular and mandatory participation in code reviews, technical discussions, and design reviews
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or other cloud platforms
- Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL data stores
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages such as TypeScript and Java
- Understanding RESTful API design and service-oriented architecture
- Exposure to logging / observability alerting, tools such as SumoLogic / New Relic / Pager Duty or similar
- Experience with monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident management tools
- Experience building or supporting real-time messaging or collaboration platforms
- Experience with Google, X, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or other third-party providers
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery speed
- Experience working in distributed teams
