Job Summary
Design, develop, and test specialized software solutions for satellite mission payloads and spaceborne communications systems within a cross-functional team. Lead the software development process by applying technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges, while championing new ideas and process improvements. Collaborate on research-oriented projects that develop practical solutions for national security, utilizing AI for continuous improvement and innovation. This role requires a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance, U.S. citizenship, and is fully on-site in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 2+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
