Software Engineer, GenAI Products - Vice President - IRVING

VP-level Software Engineer for Citi Assist GenAI platform. You will own end-to-end features across frontend and backend, write high-quality production-grade code, ship features from idea to production, and mentor junior engineers. You’ll work across the stack (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Java) with frontend frameworks like React/Vue/Angular and a Postgres backend, running in Kubernetes/OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines. You’ll build data pipelines, dashboards, and tooling to evaluate and improve data quality, safety, and model behavior, stay ahead of GenAI advances, perform thoughtful code reviews, and collaborate with product and platform leadership across distributed teams in Pune, London, and Texas. Bonus points for experience with data pipelines/analytics tooling (Airflow, Dagster), Generative AI/LLMs, or contributions to open-source. You’ll operate in a regulated financial services context with security and AI safety considerations, and you’ll work to help more junior engineers grow. Clear, proactive communication across continents is expected.
