Job Summary
Configure insurance product models, build transactional behaviors for policy lifecycles, and develop logic to automate underwriting decisions and pricing calculations. Design policy documents using XML/XSLT, implement integrations between the core platform and external systems via APIs, and optimize SQL Server database objects and batch jobs. Produce unit and integration tests, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams. Work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 remote) from Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX. Requires C#/.NET Core, Next.js, and SQL Server expertise with a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience coding in C#/.NET Core, .NET Core Web APIs, Next.js, SQL Server, API development/integration, and application deployment
- Previous experience implementing, configuring, or extending enterprise platforms, policy administration systems, or comparable commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

- The selected candidate will be required to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 remote) from our Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX office

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with insurance platforms
- Exposure to API-first, headless, or modern integration architectures
- Familiarity with cloud or SaaS delivery models, including upgrade-friendly design and operational constraints
- Demonstrated mentoring or technical leadership experience, including code/configuration reviews and delivery ownership
- Previous experience with Duck Creek platform
