Job Summary
Oversee application development, modification, and maintenance while monitoring system performance and resolving business issues. Install and configure software, test for malfunctions, and design new applications or enhancements to existing systems. Provide management advice on processes and techniques to improve work operations and train junior engineers. Ensure compliance with risk management programs, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory rules while implementing strategies to improve system efficiency. This full-time, onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree and seven years of experience in full-stack .NET development. The position is based in the Riverchase Operations Center area (Hoover, AL, Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC) with a target salary range of $127,767.75 to $168,210.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience
- Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve a common objective
- Ability to conduct system analysis to detect issues with performance
- Ability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges
- Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization and software debugging
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong executional capabilities
- Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems and how to integrate them
- Experience developing full-stack applications using C#, .NET (ASP.NET Core/MVC), and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including data modeling and performance tuning
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization
- Ability to collaborate across business, vendor, and internal teams
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC
- This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future
- Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week
- Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Harness)
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices
