Job Summary
Design software solutions by translating business and technical requirements into secure, resilient systems that balance client value with operational efficiency. Develop reusable code, APIs, and libraries while optimizing database models and query logic for efficient data storage and retrieval. Implement and improve development frameworks, patterns, and practices with a focus on automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug bugs across environments to maintain system stability, react to monitoring alerts, and assist in capacity planning and load testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex applications using modern front-end and back-end frameworks, cloud platforms, and microservice architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Matric
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
- 3+ years proven experience in both front- and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation
- Experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems development processes (SDLC)
- Application development
