Job Summary
Full Stack IAM Engineer at eBay responsible for designing, building, and evolving full-stack IAM applications in React and Node.js. Lead the integration of AI/ML capabilities into identity workflows, improve identity governance (access requests, approvals, workflows), and enhance security and compliance. Collaborate across security, platform, and product teams to ensure scalable, resilient systems and enable smarter access decisions. The role emphasizes ownership of features end-to-end, from UI to backend services and data, with a focus on AI-powered development, testing tools, and measurable access posture insights.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Significant full-stack development with React on frontend and Node.js on backend
- Proven experience building and operating REST APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
- Strong proficiency in AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ability to work in security- or compliance-focused environments
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Interest in building AI-enabled features for access/security challenges
