Job Summary
Immerse yourself in FT Base, the firm's digital backbone managing data ecosystems, AI agents, and proprietary CRM built with Python, Django, and React. Execute instructions to build new features, refactor existing code, or simplify systems while making recommendations on project progression. Review applications prototyped outside engineering to steer, rebuild, or secure them, ensuring every line of AI-produced code is explained and verified. Help funnel ideas into sustainable, compatible features that scale without accumulating technical debt, maintaining stability through comprehensive test coverage and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years as a Software Engineer in a web application environment
- 2 years as a Software Engineer and reputable boot camp certification
- Computer Science degree (4 year) and some projects or work experience to show
- Python
- Typescript
- APIs
- Git
- web application system design concepts
- Strong A.I. prompt-driven development abilities, backed by technical understanding
- You will need to be able to explain and verify any ai-produced code you submit, on a line by line basis
- Experience overcoming the obstacles that lie beyond the prototype, and instinct toward cohesive organized systems that scale
