Job Summary
Full Stack Software Engineer responsible for end-to-end product development across developer-facing tools (dashboard, APIs, SDKs) and the developer platform. Responsibilities include designing onboarding flows for developers and agents, shaping the Exa API/SDKs for ergonomic agentic search, architecting the API gateway, and building surfaces for account management, billing, permissions, and provisioning for enterprise customers. Priorities emphasize delivering high-quality information retrieval solutions, scalable backend APIs, and strong frontend design in TypeScript, with a track record of shipping products used by many users. This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, with visa sponsorship available for international candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong TypeScript experience
- Frontend design focus
- Experience designing and maintaining backend APIs
- Experience shipping products for AI/LLMs or similar large-scale systems
